In addition to our Rules of Play and Bylaws, EGSL has developed a COVID-19 Mitigation Plan.     Please know that the safety of our players and their families is our top priority.    Our mitigation plan is a working document and will be updated as needed throughout the season should the guidelines set forth by the MA Department of Health, the City of Everett, and USA Softball require a change. We ask that everyone work together and respectfully follow the guidelines so that we can allow our girls to safely play the game. 

Some of the key changes will be:
1. Families will be asked to maintain 6 feet of separation and wear face coverings when distancing is not possible.
2. Sharing of equipment will be discouraged.   If sharing of equipment is required, equipment will be sanitized between uses.   Equipment scholarships are available to help minimize sharing.
3.  Players will be encouraged to maintain distancing while in the dugouts.
4. Teams and close contacts will be notified immediately when the league has a confirmed positive case.
